Attune was created to offer a calmer, more accessible approach to primary care. By removing insurance billing from visits, we are able to focus on time, continuity, and thoughtful care that meets patients where they are.
About the Doctor
Dr.JoBeth Augustyniak is a board-certified family medicine physician (DO, AOBFP) who built Attune Direct Care for the kind of primary care she wanted to be able to practice — and the kind her community deserves to receive. She completed her residency at Texoma Medical Center and has spent her career in and around Grayson County. Attune is the evolution of her previous practice, Uplift Family Medicine, rebuilt from the ground up around the direct primary care model.
A formative experience shaped how she thinks about access.Working in a critical access hospital emergency department, she watched patients in acute mental health crisis wait as long as 48 hours for the right level of care — not because anyone wasn't trying, but because the system around them wasn't built for what they needed.The moment didn't make her cynical about medicine.It made her certain that primary care, done with enough time and continuity, is where most of these stories should have started — and could have ended differently.
Her clinical interests reach into areas family medicine doesn't always cover: peptide therapy, mitochondrial and metabolic health, longevity medicine, and ongoing clinical research. Her philosophy is simpler than the list suggests. Listen carefully.Think clearly. Don't perform expertise.Treat the person in front of you, not the checklist on the screen.The most important question in most visits isn't on any intake form — it's whatever the patient hasn't quite figured out how to say yet, and getting to it takes time the standard system doesn't give.
She lives in Sherman with her family and is taking new members now.
